Leveraging the hype and love for football, OPPO A95 was launched on the creative platform of ‘The Smart Performer’, resulting in a series of light-hearted and unexpected films that showcased the new phone’s five key features.

OHH and activation opportunities. There were brilliant ideas that the clients wanted us to bring to life, if not for budget and partnership constrains:

  • Multi viewing matches: A95 phones set up at multiple areas of the stadium, overlooking the field. This allowed viewers to choose any angle to watch from instead of fixed, conventional broadcast angles while showcasing video quality.

  • Safe distancing seats: Screens that broadcast fans cheering in real-time that doubled up as safe distancing markers to ensure the stadium atmosphere wasn’t lost, and kept players motivated.

  • AR face effect/filter challenge: A hashtag takeover activation on IG, where supporters wore their teams on their face and flood #AFFOPPO2020. So they can get in on the action when they couldn’t be in the stadium.
